ERATUR Signed New Cooperation Agreements at the International Forum

The First Forum of Tour Operators of ECO Member States was held in Baku.

On May 2-3, the First Forum of Tour Operators of the Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) took place in Baku, jointly organized by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Economic Cooperation Organization. Representatives of the tourism industry from ECO member states, including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Iran, Pakistan, as well as Azerbaijan, participated in the forum.

On May 2, during the first day of the forum held at the Park Inn hotel, panel discussions were organized on topics such as “Tourism in the ECO Region: Opportunities and Challenges”, “Silk Roads of the Middle East and Western Asia: Revival of the Historic Silk Road Transport Route with Key Organizational Aspects”, “Organization of Regular Familiarization Tours to Azerbaijan’s Tourism Destinations for Representatives of ECO Countries with the Support of Tourism Agencies Associations”, and “Development and Implementation of Joint ECO Tour Packages”.

On May 3, B2B meetings were held at Radisson Hotel Baku, aimed at developing international cooperation and establishing new business relations between participants of the tourism market.

Representatives of ERATUR Travel Agency also actively participated in these meetings, held a number of productive negotiations, and discussed prospects for further cooperation with foreign partners.

Such international forums play an important role in the development of Azerbaijan’s tourism industry, contribute to strengthening international relations, and open up new opportunities for tourism companies in the country.
